Expert Groups
This ExG brings together member laboratories specialized in the testing of electrical characteristics of power generating units.
Its main goals are to develop and interpret grid connection testing standards and relevant procedures, as well as to organize, perform and evaluate interlaboratory comparisons.
Sokratis Tentzerakis
Coordinator of the Electrical Characteristics Expert Group since 2021, after serving as Deputy Coordinator since 2012 and being a member of the group since 2004.
Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in power quality, grid connection and compliance of power generating units.
Subject Matter Expert in Service Line Electrical Characteristics at UL Solutions since 2022.
He is also a member of several technical organizations and working groups, including the German Association VDE, the FGW TG3 Working Group, IEC 61400-21 Working Groups TC 88 (WG 21 and WG 60) and IECRE Taskforce TF 004.
Author of more than 30 contributions to specialized magazines and conferences.
