Measnet, International Network of Wind Energy Measurements Organizations, is a non-profit founded in 1997. We bring together technical experts from across the renewable energy industry to share knowledge regardless of competition and strengthen quality standards worldwide.
The Measnet Stamp is a globally recognized quality mark, valued in international tenders and trusted to enhance project bankability.
Our more than 30 members are independent testing and technical service providers for the renewable energy industry from around the world, accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 and/or IECRE members.
Since 2015, we have been collaborating with IECRE as exclusive Proficiency Tests provider for the wind sector in accordance with its regulations. In addition, the A-Liaison signed with the IEC TC 88 group in 2019 allows us to promote technology transfer and speed up the development of technical guidelines on wind measurements.

Our mission is to ensure high quality testing and technical services for the wind industry, along with uniform interpretation of standards and recommendations and interchangeability of results.
We are committed to fostering a culture of collaboration and technical knowledge-sharing to develop an inclusive and open international organization.

Our story began in 1997, when a group of the world’s most experienced wind testing and technical service providers recognized the growing need for harmonized measurement standards as the industry expanded internationally.
Through close collaboration and internal Proficiency Tests, members ensured measurement results of equal quality, suitable for mutual comparison and international acceptance. This cooperative effort led to the formal establishment of Measnet as a non-profit organization based in Spain in 2011.
A new chapter opened in 2015, when we began working with IECRE, extending our long-standing experience in proficiency testing to the wider industry through open Proficiency Tests under IECRE rules.
From an initial group of 16 Europe-focused members, Measnet has grown into a global network of more than 30 organizations across Europe, Australia, the USA, China, Türkiye, and beyond.
